Went out to the reservation last night. Vern my brother and I headed out around 11:30 or so. We loaded the hog trailer on to an atv and started scouting around 12:00. 20 minutes into it , our dog Cabeza and Vern's Meelo are heard about 50 yards in front of us in some thick palmetto's. As we head on over on the trail with the 4 wheeler's, this "big ,black , creature jumps out in front of us! (20 feet or so) Meelo and Cabeza in hot pursuit. Pete, Fancy and Shady get there within seconds. Usually it'll take less than the five to get it stopped and caught. When we heard the fighting in the brush we knew we needed renforcements. Anything under 175 or usually will be caught. We knew this one was well over. I jump off the 4 wheeler open the the dog box and let Mala out. She runs str8 towards the bay with my brother and I right behind her. When my brother and I finally get around the palmetto's the dogs where all caught. Danny got the back end and I grabbed the front right and this big bad boy was down. "BIG BLACK HOG DOWN"! LOL.
Finally we got the dogs off and loaded him onto the trailer.
Cabeza was cut on the bridge of his nose and Meelo recieved a nasty one to the shoulder but both will be fine.

Our trail dog Cabeza. This dog is still finding hogs and stoppi them with a leg that was injured about 3 months ago . H ehad some ligament damage and doesnt have full control of it anymore. But man is he non stop!

Finally we got the dogs off and loaded him onto the trailer.
